I was given this book in exchange for an honest review.  After Janes's  mother passed away, her father taught her business practices so she would be a clever and capable young woman.  He was only a second son and they could not afford the fancy dresses required for all the balls for a London season.  Jane was expected to marry well to provide for her younger sister.  The book goes on in wonderful detail how society in London really is, all the beautiful dresses, balls and estates.  I very much enjoyed the Christmas setting and all the intrigue the book provides.  I will leave that for you to read for yourselves and I definitely recommend this book.  FIVE 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
