I really enjoyed this novel, a sweet Christian romance, this is a new author for me. Lorena Hoopes's narration was very well done easy to listen to. This book gives everyone hope that there is a chance of getting out of an abusive/controlling relationship and start over and that a new love in a healthy way is possible. Also the help of friends is so important. I am looking forward to reading the other books in the series. The wonderful guy in this book is a Veteran, to all the Veterans out there, including my husband Mike whom I am very proud of Thank You For Your Service. FIVE 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
